These Three Rooms Should Be Added In Your Audio System, Here's Why

The top places that are usually included in home audio/sound systems are living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms. The “not so obvious” rooms get overlooked, leaving people using their new sound system only to realize they should've added a few more rooms. If you’re considering installing a home audio system, or currently have one but want to include more rooms, we recommend the following three.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms. Not only can music make bath time fun for kids and relaxing for adults, an automated speaker system is also safe for everyone. Audio systems can be configured to work with your security system or your phone to alert you of suspicious activity, important information, or if someone is at the door. 

Having this setting on while in the shower can be pretty useful, as most times the bathroom is the place we aren’t aware of emergency calls, texts, break ins, or doorbells. You can allow certain calls to come through, or even be reminded of certain events and time limits. The safety benefits are a reason in itself for the bathroom to be part of your home audio system.

Garages

The garage is a must, if you’re someone who spends a lot of time there. Mechanics understand this. Being able to listen to music while working, playing, sorting, sifting, entertaining, crafting, planting, conversing, or whatever you do, in the garage, is nice. Along with the added security benefits listed above, you could be in the garage all day and not worry about what's going on in the house.

Walk In Closets

Last but not least, walk in closets! Listening to music while picking out clothes and getting ready in the morning might be what sets the tone for your whole day. You could also listen to the morning news, or even better, put on your favorite podcast.

Rooms To Consider

Some other rooms to include would also be baby rooms and home offices. Listening to work/study music while in the office helps improve “both productivity and cognitive performance” to stay focused and get things done quicker. Similarly, babies calm down and fall asleep faster while listening to certain sounds that make curious brains focus and get comfortable for bed.
