When Looking for A Good Security System, Here's What You Shouldn't FindBefore opting to have a security system installed, you’ve probably done your research on what you want. Have you researched what you don’t need? Don’t worry if you didn’t, we’ve done it for you! Let’s dive into what not to look for in a security system.
Security surveillance consists of many factors. The biggest of them being accountability. If you ever stumble across a full security package with sensors, 24/7 surveillance, professional monitoring, alarms, and the like, plus monthly payments, then you should be getting what you pay for. However, always make sure there’s some form of contract. Don’t look for a system with monthly payments that doesn’t have a contract. Speaking of payments, with security systems, you will always get what you pay for. If you spend five dollars a month on your security surveillance, then you will get five dollars worth of service. Likewise if you spend a hundred dollars on security surveillance, then you will also get that much in service. Do not simply look to get a security system because of the price. Talk to the professionals and settle on what you need, because that’s what will make your surveillance worth it. You know what else is worth it? Customer service! You might find the best security plan out there with everything you need that is totally worth the money, but don’t let the security package fool you. Customer service should also be on your list of needs, and without good service, the security package won't be so great. If you’re paying for a professional service, don’t settle for unprofessional help. Get to know the company you are entrusting your safety to and make sure they will be working for you every step of the way. A great customer service team is also the best idea to go with for security surveillance installations. If you’re only in need of a single camera and you don’t need help with installation, it’s a good option to just install the camera on your own. On the other side of things, if you have a full package to install and zero experience or clue of how to DIY, please have the company install it for you. Don’t look for systems you can install on your own, find one that can be professionally installed so it can work properly without hassle. Other than those four “don’t(s),” you’re good to go! Look for a trusted company like We Are More to rely on. Safety is nothing to gamble with, so take it seriously. Look for security that works the way it should.

Great Light OptionsA simple tip to enhance security on your property is to get lights installed on pathways, driveways, hedge/tree/garden areas, and all entrances. Aside from security surveillance and alarm systems, installing lights on any property is a must for optimal security protection. It might seem basic, and it is, but some might overlook this first step to protecting any property. Here are 5 great light options for any yard or driveway. In-Ground Lights are -- just that. In the ground. They are great at blending in with all landscapes and staying hidden. Perfect for those who only want to showcase their lighting at night. Lantern Style lights are perfect for those who want their light fixtures to be seen at all times. According to Y Lighting ideas, “Driveway lights with a lantern design gives your front yard an “enchanted garden” feel.” They are sure to make any landscape intriguing, while still protecting it from unwanted attention. Light Poles come in all shapes and sizes. Whether a property calls for something overhead to light up a wider area, or something shorter to offer some romantic lighting on a pathway, these lights get the job done by keeping things lit. Hanging Lights are super trendy. They blend into any design and they’re good for people who like to spend their nights outdoors. String type lighting isn’t harsh, but it’s good enough to brighten up otherwise dark areas and keep intruders away.
Mushroom Lights look like mushrooms! This style of lighting is great for walkways. Instead of shooting light straight up, it’s deflected downward towards the ground. Lighting is then concentrated on the path instead of what’s around the path. Lighting is just a good idea. It’s nice being able to design a driveway, pathway, garden, or yard with unique and beautiful lighting features that cater to individual taste. More importantly, outdoor lighting is an easy way to keep an eye on any property. Always maintain peace of mind knowing that simple protection is a light switch away.
