SerVice TECHNICIAN
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school graduate, associate's degree or training beyond high school preferred
2. Experience in technical support to end users
3. Software experience with desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals
4. Valid Hawaii driver’s license
5. Physically able to lift and transport a minimum of 50 pounds
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Knowledge of computer networks and networking
2. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
3. Customer service focus with the ability to relate well with customers.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide hardware support for AV technology, computers and network-related components, systems, and products
2. Provide software support on network devices and workstations including installation, imaging, and upgrading/patching
3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software incompatibility issues
4. Set up computer workstations on the network with appropriate peripherals and software; test and verify all connections/components
5. Respond to service calls and requests for information
6. Wire and crimp cat 6 and coax connections to keystone and patch bays
7. Work flexible hours, when needed, to assure maximum up-time for customers
8. Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about customers and staff
9. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
