What Are You Missing From Your Whole Building Audio?
Whole building audio; it’s fun, relaxing, and establishes the mood for any setting. There’s only one thing you’re missing, an installation team. You might be wondering why you can’t just set up speakers on our own. You could, it just wouldn’t be the same as We Are More installing it for you.
Let’s imagine you trying to give your house “whole building audio.” You go out, buy all the speakers, wait, do you know which speakers to buy? Which speaker goes where? Should you get the big ones or the little ones? Which brand is going to last the longest? I guess google could help with that right? Yeah, let’s move on.
Okay, so you get the speakers, and you start setting them up in the kitchen. Do speakers go in the kitchen? What about the bathroom? Do you need them in there? Is the garage considered part of the “whole building audio” space? Hmmm, Google could help with that too, I’m sure. We’ll just skip that.
So, you’re setting up your sound system in the kitchen, then you start looking for outlets, because they need power— hold on, does this mean you’re going to have wires running through your kitchen? Yes. Do you want that? I sure hope not. The only way google could help at that point would be to help you look up someone to hide the wires for you.
Lets back up, after all the hard work of getting the speakers, rearranging your house to get them in a spot that has potential, and spending a lot of time trying to hide wires, you finally realize that you should’ve just hired We Are More to get everything done for you.
We Are More would make sure you get the best quality speakers and the right types, they would set them up in optimal spots that make sense, and they’d make sure that all wires are hidden with a mess free finish that leaves you wondering how they did it. No need to fuss with uncertainty again.
Stores, office buildings, and houses come to life with whole building audio. Next time you or anyone you know wants to install “whole building audio,” save the trouble for another day and hire We Are More! Smart service at its finest.

A smart restroom seems like a silly topic. People use the restroom to use the toilet, shower, bathe, change clothes, and then they’re out. Having a smart restroom, however, is less about what you do in there and more about how your experience is. I know that sounds funky but keep reading.
Walking into commercial restrooms have always been an event for me. I mentally prepare myself before walking in, "I hope it doesn't smell. I hope I won't have to touch the faucet. Please let there be soap in the dispensers. I hope there will be paper towels left." The way public restrooms make people feel stick with them. Example: Walmart is a great place for buying decently priced picture frames, but when I think of their restrooms an image of cold steal and hospital white floors comes to mind. I usually want to get in and out of there as quickly as I can.
Recently, I used a restroom that was one of the nicest I’d ever seen in a Walmart. Warm lighting complemented the mahogany walls and tan stone pictured tiles, the temperature was controlled at a perfect warmth, and the hand dryers worked in seconds—the orchids sitting between each sensor activated sink were the cherry on top. It was a SMART RESTROOM, and it completely changed the mood of the store for me. That Walmart is now my favorite one to go to. Their picture frames cost just as much as the other Walmart’s, but their bathroom is kept up, clean, and smart, leaving me with a resort like feel and a happier shopping experience.
Commercial smart restrooms say a lot about their company, and they do a lot for their companies too. Increased visits by loyal customers for one; I never want to use a restroom in any other Walmart but that one ever again. If a smart business is something an owner wants to expand on, I recommend starting with a smart restroom.
Don’t trust me? Try out a smart bathroom in your home and you’ll understand. Commercial and residential smart restrooms are a little different, only because a residential smart restroom has a lot more options—smart tubs, smart showers, heated toilet seats etc. But any smart change is a good change! As said by Mike Slawson in his article about smart restrooms, “A smart restroom is a smart investment.”

Smart Technology For Those With Disabilities
All smart technology, whether it's in an office, residence, or even on a marine vessel, has one thing in common; management. Management control is what makes every smart system easy to use (among all the other great qualities). Some people think smart technology is just a luxury when it’s a lot more than that. Smart technology helps make life simpler.
Especially when it comes to health. The amount of health benefits from smart technology can't be numbered. Technology has been a turning point for the fitness world for years now. Imagine having smart technology that also helps in the daily lives of the elderly or those with special needs. Guess what? You don’t have to imagine something that’s real! Yes, we already have technology that does this.
Here is a short list of smart uses of technology for the benefit of those with medical conditions:
-Smart Medication Pillboxes
Skipping pill doses and taking more than you need can be dangerous. Some people simply forget to take them, others accidentally take more than they were supposed to. These smart pill boxes can remind people to take their medications at the right times, so they never skip another medication time. They also alert people to tell them they already had what they needed for the day so there aren't any overdoses.
Detection devices that have alerts embedded in their technology are literal life savers. Home security systems, smart stoves, smart refrigerators, and more. Other devices include smart doorbells and locks that can be controlled from a remote or a phone. With these devices, people can identify the person at the door before letting them in. They're helpful for anyone that wouldn't be able to defend themselves against unknown intruders. People can see who is at the door without giving off any indication that they are even home. They can then decide if they want to let the person inside before even opening the door. The security alerts can also give off reminders to lock the door while leaving the home or office for those who rush out in a hurry.
The best feature of a smart remote is being able to limit the number of remotes in a home. Smart remotes offer hassle-free control of smart systems. Whether it’s a smart control panel or a handheld remote, smart devices can be controlled from one area of the house so that people can sit comfortably without worrying about having to get up as often.
-Smart Audio Assistants
Amazon Alexa speakers are one of the best virtual assistants! Play music, play games that keep your mind sharp, check the weather, check the time, call anyone in your contacts, even 911, check schedules, set reminders, the list goes on. We love her.
There is an endless amount of safety features that could be installed/implemented into any home or business for a simpler lifestyle!

There has been a deadly outbreak called the “Wuhan Coronavirus” that originated in Wuhan China. It has been spreading through a number of cities and other countries in Asia. Most of China is on lock down. The virus can “mutate easily and can jump from animals to humans,” which is what makes it such a fast spreading disease—it’s so fast that since the beginning of the outbreak in December, two cases of the virus have already been found in the U.S, and three cases have been identified in Europe within the last three hours.
What does this have to do with technology? Specifically speaking, it has to do with IoT. In a previous article we brought up what exactly IoT is, and its benefits. When it comes to deadly outbreaks, IoT is the reason we know about outbreaks over seas so we can prepare and control the spread. The Wuhan virus moves rapidly but thanks to IoT we can track, monitor, and hopefully prevent a further spread. These are all huge advantages, especially for this virus that has no vaccine.
The best thing that IoT does in these situations is tracking the disease. As mentioned above, the Wuhan virus is already making its way across Asia and has entered the United States, and Europe—this is vital information that is only possible through IoT. Why is it important? Is that a real question? We know that the virus is spreading through Asia, if you were planning a trip there anytime soon, you’d probably change your flight arrangements. Not that China is letting anyone in or out of China anyway, but it’s nice to know before getting to the airport.
A total of 41 people have been confirmed dead due to the virus, including the most recent 15 deaths that occurred in a single day. We only have this information because of IoT. Though it’s sad to hear, it’s necessary for a number of reasons other than “travel plans.” Stay connected, informed, and safe in real time with IoT.

Humans have always been inventive. From the first lightbulb to electric cars and everything before and in between, humans have thought, “how can we make technology work for us?” Which is the whole purpose behind Tech companies and electrical contractors, like We Are More.
Some people find “smart” automation to be frivolous and surrounded by giant dollar signs. Technology only becomes a waste of money when used inadequately. A person wouldn’t add a spare room onto their home if they had no use for it. However, if they had a relative moving in with them or a baby on the way, building a new room would be beneficial. The same goes for tech, you don’t have to be a mathematician to figure that out.
Using technology to help yourself is the goal. Just to have something for no purpose than to have it is a luxury and that’s when it can become a waste. The cool thing is that all technology is created with a purpose in mind, for a better and more efficient future. Tech is only useless when it’s not being used. The importance of technology leans highly on economics.
Tech changes so quickly that children are being trained to do jobs that don’t even exist yet. These jobs include use of technology that hasn’t even been invented with the purpose of fixing issues that have yet to be surfaced. Children born in the post millennial generation will be the smartest, most advanced, and business minded generation due to having parents who are smarter than the preceding generations and from growing up in a time where an abundance of technology already exists.
Since humans are the product creators, the predictions of future tech and advancement will always come true. Technology is man made aka a human "thing." Staying up to date and keeping your business, home, and lifestyle in the present with technology will keep you moving in the right direction. Technology effects everything we do, whether we notice it or not.

Three Essentials for Outdoor Home Entertainment
Are you a people person? Do you like hosting cookouts or game day socials? Have you ever thought of an outdoor entertainment system for your guests? Throwing a few steaks on the grill is always enjoyable, but unless everyone is busy cooking, your guests might want something to keep their mind off the smell of good food. We Are More doesn’t just work on the indoors of homes, we’re here to help with the outdoors too.
Think “Home Theater” but outside! If you’re skeptical about weather effecting the longevity of a flat screen in the elements of your yard, opt for a projector screen instead! The projector can be covered, or the screen can be retracted when not in use. A projector is the perfect solution for movie nights under the stars, gameday brunches, or kids’ parties.
Once you’ve got the screens, move on to the tunes. Sound systems are important for any theater, but surround sound isn’t just for the big screen. Camouflaged outdoor speakers can fit into any landscape, and separate or connect to indoor sound systems creating virtual sound that follows you through any part of your home. Play background music for a quiet dinner party on the deck or crank the volume up for a summer bash by the pool. Whatever the sound level is, use outdoor speakers to keep the party flowing in/outdoors with smart audio systems.
Speaking of parties, we can’t forget lights! If you’re not the flashing neon strobe light type, don’t worry, we have other types up our sleeve. Maybe you’d like a cool blue illuminating the shrubbery along the driveway, or an ivory hue on the deck for a candlelight effect. Whatever your preference and style may be, outdoor lighting doesn’t just change the mood of your night but also enhances the look of your home.
Theater screens, audio, and lighting are all components to build the ultimate outdoor entertainment experience. If you already have one or two of these, why not complete the package? Give We Are More a call for an outdoor automation consultation!

4 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT COMPUTER NETWORKING MANAGEMENT
What is computer networking and management?
Network Management essentially defines when a network is monitored and operated by a team to keep computer networks working appropriately. A network management servicer (We Are More) offers “fault analysis, performance management, provisioning of networks and maintaining the quality of service.”
Listed below are four pieces of information that you probably didn't know about Computer Network Management:
1. Computer network management prevents difficulties.
Network management isn’t the key – network management that works properly is. When network management is taken cared of, it will stop new difficulties from arising and extend the longevity of your network.
2. Computer network management works efficiently.
Accurate management guarantees that your employees will never work blindly. They will always have access to Information Technology (IT) so they can do their jobs without a hassle. Good management helps your business run smoothly so your staff can work with efficiently.
3. Computer network management maintains security.
If you’re company starts off with a secure network, it doesn’t mean that you have security. Networks need to be managed correctly in order to keep a network secure. Meaning, having a network management team is best for keeping your network safe. Passwords will be kept secure, scam emails and sites will be removed, and users who aren’t part of the business won’t have access beyond what your business offers to customers.
4. Computer network management keeps businesses up to date.
Network technology doesn’t change as fast as other corporate information technology. However, it’s always beneficial to gradually upgrade your network with the times to keep performance current. A network that hasn’t been maintained will put businesses at potential risk and slow down the average work day.

Virtual communication and audio all through an IP Network. If you want a phone system that does more than phone calls, consider VoIP!

Temperature control is such a great convenience to have. We Are More can incorporate a smart system with your current “HVAC, radiant flooring, forced air, dual fuel and geothermal systems” so you don’t have to worry about the climate of your home or business. After installation you’ll have full control of the temperature through any smart phone or touchscreen. Temperature will also be allowed to change with the season, which is a plus for saving money, a balance of humidity, ventilation, cooling, and heat.
“Do people actually install Wi-Fi? I thought it was just a box I could hook up.” Well, yes—if you don’t like quality. It’s especially important for businesses to have Wi-Fi marketing as part of their establishment. Being able to let customers connect to your Wi-Fi without a hassle by logging in with a specific social network is the key. This allows you (the business owner) to get analytics on user profile data for marketing campaigns. You’ll be able to see the data of clients who access your Wi-Fi, increase sales, capture more customers, collects the emails of your guests to send them a message and survey about reviewing your business, how long people use your Wi-Fi (in other words; how long they spend at your business and what days are busiest), as well as being able to send automated promotions, free gifts, sales and more. It’s a lot to take in, I know, but it’s more than just giving your customers free Wi-Fi.
Along with business connection, residential Wi-Fi is also important! In a smart home or not, it’s better to have a high-performing network than a slow one that’s unreliable. We Are More even offers a Free Speed Test that you can use to test the quality of your Wi-Fi network. Check it out!
The best part about all We Are More does is that the technical stuff is up to them, but everything else is up to the customer. Emlployment VS Technology
Do evolving smart businesses mean that there will be less employment opportunity? No. Not unless your company is completely robotic. Even then, businesses that decide they want to let everything be run by computers will be opening employment for IT departments. No computer can run properly without a tech guy, or tech persons.
Actual robots being used in the workplace would most likely only be used to help employees do ”dangerous, heavy or repetitive tasks.” That, however, is only if your company is big enough to afford a robot. Industrial robots cost anywhere from $50,000 to $150,000—but I’m not here to talk about them.
Let’s talk about facts. The top 50 smartest business, according to Technology Review, consist of names we all know. The third on the list being Amazon. It uses a computer powered online store that connects to all sorts of little gadgets, like Alexa. Shockingly, Amazon has over 600,000 employees. On top of that, they have 30,000 job openings as of September 2019. That’s a whole lot of people working for a store that’s powered by artificial intelligence!
Amazon is a good example of how technology doesn’t replace human workers but rather benefits how humans do their work. Their online store and appliances have made them the fifth largest company in America! Amazon is a big example, but smaller companies benefit just as much.
We Are More is an electrical contracting company; they specialize in smart technology. The cool thing is that they don’t just sell their products, they use them! Why? Being a smart business isn’t just cool, it helps employees get their jobs done quicker, and finish them more efficiently.
Take clocking in to work for example. If you’re a business owner who still uses the old paper and pen spreadsheet to calculate hours—you’re in the stone age my friend. I highly suggest (and I’m sure your employees would too) that you switch to something a little more digital. Let computers do the work for you through online time tracking.
We Are More uses the online time tracking method through an app installed on all the employee’s phones. It’s cost effective, time saving, and less of a headache. Whether its something as small as changing the way we clock in to work or buying a robot to do difficult tasks, technology is here to help!

The amount of sleep people get rejuvenate them for the day, and getting the right amount is crucial for overall good health! According to the National Sleep Foundation, there are a certain number of hours needed for sleep depending on age group— for adults, ages 18 to 64, they need anywhere between seven to nine hours of sleep to function properly throughout the day. So, make sure your using those smart watches, and clocks and whatever else not just to wake you up but have them set reminders for when you should head to bed!
What does that have to do with dream technology? Nothing, except that most people dream when they sleep. Dreams have always been a phenomenon.
Did you know, you dream even when you don’t? That’s right! If you wake up and don’t remember your dream, it doesn’t mean you didn’t dream. The human mind is constantly awake. Don’t believe me? That’s okay, I found this article to explain it for you; click here to read more.
Wouldn’t it be cool to see what goes on in your mind while you sleep? I think so. A new technology called the “Sleep Cap” might be able to make some dreams watchable.
“The sleep cap will record imagery "using technologies derived from either magnetic resonance or near-infrared spectroscopy. All the data will be processed and streamed as a dream movie to your computer, DVR or Facebook, so all your friends can view and share your dream."”
In an article posted by CNN, Antonio Zadra, a psychology professor at the Université de Montréal says that “dreams are designed to be forgotten.” If that’s so, then why are scientists even bothering to create the “Sleep Cap” to begin with?
Dreams are a valuable part of life and deserve to be remembered. Of course, this goes back to personal belief, but if you think back to a dream that really meant something to you, just because it wasn’t reality doesn’t mean it wasn’t significant in some way. Do you agree?
There are several reasons why people have dreams, just none that anyone (expert or not) can agree on. That’s partly why so fascinating! Go to this link to read more on what scientists are trying to accomplish for the sake of watching dreams!
